Mary Hamilton: Owner/member
Mary came up with the business plan for Solar Plexus in 1994. She quit her job, toured similar businesses (large and small) on the coast and found a location. Lee set up the computers for her and after a million phone calls and some creative banking the business was born.
Coming from a ranching background, using a computer and a phone several hours a day was a real learning experience. It still has it's challenging moments.
The first five years saw her out on the job, on the roof, in the stream right along with Lee, but she begrudgingly gave up all the fun stuff to keep the books, answer the phone, and deal with the walk-in traffic. If you want to catch her at the store, call ahead.
With eight grandkids, Mary has a busy life but Solar Plexus is a big part of her identity so retirement will come slowly.
